We know it?s not first thing you?d like to do on a Saturday in July, but the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (COG) will kick-off a region-wide effort to create a vision for the future of our tri-county area and this plan will be a multi-year process to providing a first of its kind blueprint to regional planning. The development of a regional land use, transportation and infrastructure plan and a vision for how we as region want to grow is one of the most important aspects to REALTORS® having a secure future. As a first step in the process, the COG and their consulting team are conducting a survey to have citizens communicate on what is important to be included in a regional plan to protect the area's quality of life.
